  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g butter
  • 150 g wholemeal flour or oat flour
  • 150 g white or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Melt the butter in the microwave.
  2. Mix the sugar, vanilla, butter and egg yolks in a bowl (separate and save the egg whites). Whisk the mixture thoroughly.
  3. Add the yeast and sieved flour to the previous mixture and stir well.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they form a stiff peak using a hand mixer.
  5. Mix everything together, stirring thoroughly and pour into a mould.
  6. Bake in the fryer and turn over so it cooks on both sides.
  7. Serve with sugar, chocolate, ice cream, jam or fruit.
