Ingredients 150 g rolled oats 100 g butter 100 g walnuts 80 g honey 50 g chocolate 30 g brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Step-by-step cooking method Place the butter and honey in a bowl, melt in the microwave and stir. Add the brown sugar and vanilla essence to the previous mixture. Stir. Add the rolled oats and stir again. Chop the walnuts into smaller chunks and add to the previous mixture. Add the chocolate and mix everything thoroughly together. Pour the mixture into a mould with grease-proof paper and spread the mixture out. Cook in the fryer and remove the mixture when cooked. Leave to cool so the mixture doesn’t break. Cover with film and place in the fridge for 15 minutes. Cut the mixture into bars and cook in the fryer for a few more minutes on each side. Leave to cool before serving and decorate with melted chocolate or syrup on top.
