  • 1 cold sheet of all-butter puff pastry
  • 4 cooked ham slices
  • 100 g Emmental cheese
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • Ground black pepper
  • Olive oil

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Chop the cooked ham and cut the cheese into small cubes. Mix in a bowl with the oregano.
  2. Roll out the sheet of all-butter puff pastry with a roller, without exerting pressure to obtain a smooth pastry.
  3. Cut the sheet of pastry into eight large triangles.
  4. Spread the cooked ham and cheese filling in each triangle, placing it near to the end of each long side.
  5. Roll the triangle of pastry forwards from the long side to the tip, twist the ends at the sides to close and fold them into a half moon shape.
  6. Brush the croissants with olive oil and sprinkle a little ground pepper on top.
  7. Bake the croissants in the fryer without stacking them on top of each other.
