  • 70 g wheat or wholemeal flour
  • 70 g vegan yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegan margarine, melted
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Add the yoghurt and mix again.
  2. Knead for 4-5 minutes or until the dough is soft and slightly sticky.
  3. Roll the dough into balls of equal sizes.
  4. Place the dough balls into a bowl with the melted margarine and move the bowl around until they are coated in margarine.
  5. Cook the dough balls in the fryer for 5 minutes until you see them turn golden, leaving a little space between them.
  6. Place the balls in the bowl with the rest of the margarine to coat them again.
  7. Dip the balls in sugar mixed with cinnamon to serve.
