  • 1 kg boneless cooked ham
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 60 ml orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons apple vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 3 Cinnamon cloves
  • Salt and pepper

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Mix the sugar, honey, orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, vinegar, pepper and salt in a saucepan on a medium heat until you obtain a homogeneous sauce.
  2. Make 1 cm cuts on the surface of the cooked ham, cover the basket of the fryer with aluminium foil and place the ham inside.
  3. Add part of the sauce and cover with more aluminium foil.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes, add the rest of the sauce and cook for another 20 minutes.
  5. For a crispy finish, increase the temperature for the last few minutes.
  6. Remove the aluminium foil from the fryer with the ham inside, not allowing the sauce to escape.
