Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Wash the poblano chillies, immerse them in water and remove any soil or dirt.
  2. Dry the chillies with kitchen paper.
  3. Cook the chillies in the fryer.
  4. Remove the chillies from the fryer and leave to rest for a few minutes.
  5. Put some gloves on and remove the skin and seeds from the chillies.
  6. Fill the chillies with enough Panela cheese.
  7. Wrap the strips of bacon round the chillies and fasten them with a cocktail stick.
  8. Cook the chillies again in the fryer until the bacon is golden and crispy, turn them over during cooking.
