  • 1 kg chicken breast
  • Flour for coating
  • Ground black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 400 ml water
  • 7 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cornflour
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into medium sized cubes.
  2. Season with salt and pepper and flour the chicken cubes. Spray with oil.
  3. Cook the cubes of chicken in the fryer. Set aside.
  4. Add the strained lemon juice, water, sugar and salt to a saucepan and stir with a balloon whisk on a medium heat until everything dissolves. Add the cornflour.
  5. Add the cubes of chicken to the sauce and leave to rest before serving.
