Step-by-step cooking method Cut the English muffin in half horizontally. In a bowl which is suitable for use in the fryer, spray a little oil and heat in the fryer. Place the bacon and cheese between the two halves of bread like a sandwich and insert into the fryer, next to the bowl. Add hot water and egg to the bowl and season with salt and pepper. Cook in the fryer for the required time, remove the muffin and leave the bowl with the egg in the middle until it finishes cooking. Place the egg in the muffin, on top of the bacon and cheese.
