  • 3 large sweet onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • Olive oil

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Peel the onions and cut into slices with a thickness of 1 cm.
  2. Separate the onion rings, taking care not to break them.
  3. Mix the beaten eggs with the milk in a deep dish.
  4. Mix the breadcrumbs with the salt on a flat dish.
  5. Dip each onion ring in the egg and breadcrumbs, and then repeat, dipping them in the egg and breadcrumbs again (double coating).
  6. Place the rings on a tray, taking care not to damage the coating.
  7. Spray the onion rings with oil and cook in the fryer without stacking them on top of each other.
