  • 500 g whole mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Cut the mushrooms in half and finely slice the onion.
  2. Mix the garlic, oil, lemon juice, salt and Worcester sauce in a bowl.
  3. Add the mushrooms and onion to the bowl and stir to permeate with the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a bowl and cook in the fryer, stirring during the cooking process until the mushrooms are soft and golden.
  5. Mix with the parsley, thyme and grated lemon peel to serve.
