  • 215 g pre-cooked corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 and a half cups water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 chicken breast
  • Salt, garlic and oregano

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Place the pre-cooked corn flour, wheat flour, egg, sugar and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the water and mix until the flour is moist, kneading it thoroughly until you get a soft and consistent dough (add more water or flour if necessary). Leave the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Boil the chicken breast in a pan. Shred the boiled meat in a frying pan, adding a little of the boiled water. Add salt, garlic and oregano and cook the meat until the water reduces.
  4. Make a ball with a portion of the dough to place it on clingfilm and spread it out with your hand. Add a tablespoon of the filling in the centre and fold into a half moon shape with the help of the clingfilm. Repeat the process for each unit.
  5. Spray the pasties with olive oil and cook in the fryer.
