  • 1 pork shoulder (1.5-2 kg)
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 400 ml of water

Step-by-step cooking method

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl (garlic, mustard, brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, cumin and salt).
  2. Rub the meat with the mixture and let it marinate in a covered container for 2 hours.
  3. Cover the base of the grill tray with water and place the piece of meat on top.
  4. Place the glass lid on and activate the “Slow Cook” mode, cooking for 8 hours.
  5. When finished, allow the meat to rest before shredding it.
